Selva Whitewater is a local company founded by gringo Travis Belville who has lived in the community for many years. Selva Whitewater offer a fun safe way to try whitewater (or flat water) kayaking or rafting, kayak lessons or kayak rentals and guides and logistical assistance to experienced kayakers. They have a variety of kayaks, including play boats and creek boats as well as inflatable kayaks, rafts and double kayaks.
■ Selva Whitewater trips require previous reservation, at least 24 hours in advance.
■ Travis Belville and his local guides have many years of experience in whitewater kayaking and safety.
■ This tours are generally half day and can be arranged for the morning or the afternoon.
■ Rafting costs $58 per person (class 2-3) and require a minimum of 4 people.
■ Rafting Class 3-4 costs $86 per person and also requires a minimum of 4 people.
■ Tour en Inflatable duckies costs $58 per person (class 2-3) and require a minimum of 3 people.
■ Kayaking class 2-3 costs $90 per person and require a minimum of 4 people.
■ Kayak lessons cost $110 per person and require a minimum of 4 people.
■ Children under twelve cannot participate in rafting class 2-4, only in safari floating class 1-2.
